In my performances the disease is understood as a mythical entity occupying a body and revealing its deep memory.
The disease becomes, once accepted, a companion that guides the being, through pain and darkness, towards its own liberation.
My performances are a ritual staging of that process of transition towards a meaningful existence.

This work offers an ironic perspective of the value of symbols that are established as totems in contemporary societies. These symbols cohabit our intimate space – physical and psychological – to such an extent that they determine and model our way of thinking and relating to others. I combine iconographic elements from the social sphere (political, religious, mass media) with elements and fragments from the private sphere.
I propose neutral spaces where the iconographic elements no longer contain their symbolic value and the relations between them appear absurd and tragi-comic
